Summer Study Group: Beijing and Xi'an

Learning culture and visiting places in a group can be exciting and rewarding. The Summer Study Group program is available to different groups of people; parents, children and families; teachers and students; club & society groups. We can help you design a program that suit the needs of your group. Your group will also enjoy the excursion tours to Beijing, the capital and the cultural centre of China and Xi'an, the ancient capital of China that is full of rich history of China.

Study Tour Program

Duration: 2 weeks
Levels: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced

"Seeing is believing." If you want a taste of China, to learn Chinese and experience the life in China, this is the program for you. If you like to know what it's like to learn Chinese and live in China, this is the program for you. The Study Tour program is a hands-on learning program and teaches you practical conversation skills that can be used in daily situations. The program creates an environment that immerses students in Chinese culture, arts, literature, and both speaking and writing aspects of the language. The study program also offers intermediate and advanced levels for returning students or individuals that may have previous knowledge of Mandarin.

Daily classes will be complemented with free weekend (both Saturdays and Sundays) field trips to many significant historic sights, such as the Great Wall of China, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and the tombs of the emperors from the Ming dynasty. Students will also participate in traditional free cultural activities such as watching Chinese operas, learning tea ceremony, making Chinese dumplings, Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy and sampling Chinese food such as Peking duck. The tours will include visits to Chinese martial arts exhibitions such as Tai Chi and Kung Fu.

Chinese 101

Duration: 3 weeks to 6 months
Levels: Beginner

An intensive well-rounded and practical Chinese language immersion program, individuals will learn Chinese Mandarin while at the same time absorb the rich culture of China. The program also offers students with different levels of language proficiency, thus ensuring no one is left behind in their learning journey. The building block approach of this program enables the students to grasp the Chinese language at a more manageable pace. The program also offers a more flexible duration for the students, thus making this popular among individuals with very different backgrounds, such as: working professionals, mature adults and university students.

Business Chinese Program

Duration: 4 weeks to 12 months
Levels: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced

Duration: 3 months to 6 months
Levels: Intermediate

With a basic understanding of the Chinese language, students can register for this program to obtain 16 credits at the end of this 4-month accredited program of the Chinese language. This program fits in with any study-abroad programs the individual may register with their respective learning institutions at their home countries.

Private Coaching

For Business Chinese and Chinese 101 Programs only

Private coaching tailored especially for people on the go or for those who prefer a more exclusive and personal learning environment. The one-to-one learning arrangement helps the students to pick up the language much faster; especially if time is a factor, some of our students combine the class learning with private coaching in order for them to reach proficiency faster.

HSK Program

Intermediate and Advanced Levels

Participants who have the basic Chinese language skill and want to advance themselves to sit for the Chinese Proficiency Test also known as HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) as this is the admission requirement for studying in University in China will benefit from this program and well prepared for their tests.
